After an initial call or e-mail we can meet for a no obligation interview.
Maybe you are just getting started and have no idea what you want or you
may have a very specific vision for your ceremony. Either way, we can
discuss some of your ideas and I can share with you some of my
experience.
I can provide you with a selection of readings, poetry, sample vows and
wedding rituals. One example of a commonly used ritual is the Unity
Candle. But we can draw from a variety of interfaith and cultural elements
such as sharing a glass of wine, the breaking of a glass, the rose
ceremony, the ancient Celtic tradition of hand fasting, or the signing of a
marriage certificate. We can include any cultural religious symbols and
ceremonies that you wish. It's your choice. It's your ceremony.
The elements we choose are only limited by our imagination. For example,
couples with children from previous marriages might choose to include a
ceremony recognizing the children's importance to the new marriage. For
bi-lingual couples, a loved one can translate parts of the ceremony. This
can be very beautiful as a member of your family participates directly in
the ceremony.
After we agree on the key elements, I will write the ceremony for your
review. You can change anything and everything as often as you'd like.
You only need to be involved as much or as little as you want to be. It's
your choice. It's your ceremony. The possibilities are endless!
It's Your Ceremony, It's Your Day...
